Recently I was involved for the first time in the 2014 Worldwide ATV QSO Party, coordinated in VK by Peter Cossins - VK3BFG.

I had a good time, plenty of mouse clicking and a huge amount of patience required.  Unfortunately no local operators available to get on, perhaps next year.
